Barneys Farms Crimea Blue Description

Crimea Blue was created by crossing the hugely popular, fruitful Blueberry strain with the earthy spiciness of a hardy Crimean Hash plant. With this exclusive crossing, Barneys Farm has created a new flavour sensation. With delicious flavours of lemon peel and rosemary, Crimea Blue gives you a long lasting, psychoactive high.

This fast flowering plant grows short and thick, producing above average yields of large, heavy colas. Ideal for both SOG and ScrOG growing systems, the rewards far outweigh the required gardening efforts.

About this Hybrid Strain

Crimea Blue is a creation of Barney’s Farm out of Amsterdam. The breeders chose the Crimea hash plant out of the Ukraine for the mother landrace strain to mate with the popular male Indica, Blueberry. The offspring was Crimea Blue, and it was so good it ended up taking home the prize for 2nd best Indica in the 2007 High Times Cannabis Cup.

The berry taste isn’t as pronounced as in the parent Blueberry, with a subtler overall flavor and added hints of Rosemary and spice. So that means the 2nd place price was more indicative of the effect. Users have been amazed at how strong of a cerebral high they received from this Indica-dominant strain. Hybrid lovers take note, as this strain offers the effects we love from Sativas with an equally impressive sedative body buzz that we get from Indica’s. In smaller doses this strain can be uplifting and energetic as reported by users, but it’s very easy to overdo it, so it should probably be tried first in the evening. Medical users suffering from migraines, anxiety, and chronic pain, and inflammation may find instant relief with Crimea Blue.

It’s a relatively easy strain to grow and can be grown both in and outdoors with a late September harvest. The flower yield from Crimea Blue is probably the most impressive part of this amazing strain. Cultivators have reported obtaining as much as a pound of flower from each square meter of the Crimea Blue plant, making one of the highest flower yielding plants of all time.
