Tropic heat strain review.

Feeling like I have Agoraphobia due to the amount of Inhouse strains I’m sampling as of late but I’m loving them none the less.

Up for review today is Tropical Heat (tropic heat?) (as mentioned from Inhouse Genetics) its a wonderful cross of OGKB (OG Kush Breath) and Purple Punch which I have grown particularly fond of.

With well formed and trimmed flowers its clear the grower has done this strain justice as it looks and feels superb with frost covering the nug.

Upon smelling this strain you are hit with mainly a gassy OGKB smell which smelt strong and appealing. There were no elements of the purple punch to smell however the OGKB terp profile is a favourite of mine so I wasn’t too displeased (on reflection there was a slight sweetness but it was background smell).

In regards to taste it was similar to the smell in my eyes, a strong OGKB taste from start to finish with the slightest sweetness in the background but it was subtle to say the least. The pungent ogkb flavour was lovely in my opinion and it made for a very strong taste which I found chopped the throat and made me cough more than the other strains I had from this grower.

Effects wise this Tropical Heat is definitely an indica dominant hybrid as it left me wanting to sink into my seat and gave me that relaxed feeling in my spine (when you have a proper Indica smoke and feel your back loosen up that’s the one). I really enjoyed this strain to be honest it isn’t the most complex flavour so probably would get boring quick but the piece I managed to acquire went down very easily and was my favourite out of four completely different strains from the same grower.
